Exhibition on the history of public-private partnerships

26 October - 4 November 2015, Martin Luther King Hall, Annemasse

This unique exhibition on the history of public-private partnerships traces back the rich history of investments made by private entrepreneurs to build and run most of the infrastructures and public utility goods we know and use.

This exhibition was created by Mr. Xavier Bezançon, based on his book "2000 years of public-private partnership history".



Public Conference: "Understanding climate change to take action"

27 October 2015, 19:30, Martin Luther King Hall, Annemasse

During this public conference, Michel Jarraud, Secretary General of the World Meteorological Organsation, will provide keys to help us better understand climate change and interpret the vast amount of information available on this subject. To avoid passivity in the face of climate change, we first need to understand it, before taking action to reduce it.

Responsible Public-Private Partnerships : Cooperation between the state, private sector and civil society?

On the 26th of May 2015, the conference « Public-private Partnerships — what role for civil society ? » opened a debate on the role of civil society and international solidarity actors in the implementation of responsible public-private partnerships.

Following from this event, and in the framework of the International Forum on Public-Private Partnerships for Sustainable Development, the Cité de la Solidarité Internationale is organising a debate-workshop between actors of the civil society and Forum participants to think together about building responsible PPPs for sustainable development.
