On the A40 motorway, exit towards Annemasse
Annemasse is well connected to Geneva Cornavin train station, which is connected to Paris by high speed trains. From Cornavin train station, the bus 61 goes directly to Annemasse train station, which is conveniently located right next to the Tourism Office (end stop). The bus ticket costs 4.80 CHF (payable in Swiss Francs or Euros in both Geneva and Annemasse train stations). The bus can be found at bus stop 4 outside Geneva train station, on the right as you exit the station onto Place de Cornavin (see map below). You can buy your bus ticket at the machines located at this bus stop, with coins or bankcard. Alternatively, you can take a taxi directly to Château Rouge (approx 50 CHF) or take the train directly to Annemasse train station.
At your arrival in Annemasse, we invite you to go to the tourism office (photo below), where you will receive further guidance on how to continue your journey to your hotel or to Château Rouge. The tourism office is open from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 18:00. Outside these times, a welcome desk will be available in Annemasse train station (100 metres from the bus stop).
Château Rouge is just a 15 minutes walk from this station, following the directions below.
The closest airport is the international Geneva Cointrin airport. From the airport, you can take a direct train to Geneva's central train station, Gare Cornavin. The journey lasts just 7 minutes and costs 3 CHF (also payable in euros). From the train station, you can then take Bus 61, which takes you directly to Annemasse train station (endstop).
