Following a long career in the private sector, then in local government as Director of legal affairs and public procurement in an urban community, Gaële Chamming's is now a lawyer in Bordeaux and accompanies public bodies in the implementation of complex public projects.
She also teaches at Master level in many universities: Bordeaux, Montpellier, Toulouse, Saint Louis in Senegal and in the Political Science Institute in Bordeaux. She regularly intervenes in the PPP Chair of the Foundation of the University of Bordeaux.
Doctor of law, Ms. Chamming's won the Best Thesis Award in Public Law in Bordeaux in 2012 with her research on French law and public procurement, the test of partnership contracts. From risks-sharing to State Reform".
Within the PPP Chair and with Pr. Hubert Delzangles, she contributed in 2013 to the CESER report on public investments and spoke at a Symposium in Algiers on "PPPs: Review and Perspective - Between public necessity and private expertise".
In 2014, she published a practical guide for local authorities on managing PPP contracts.
