Bertrand Gallet has served as the Director General of Cités Unies France (CUF) since 1999. Previously, he was the Secretary General for the Institute for International Relations and Strategy. He is also a professor of International Relations at Paris XIII University.
Mr. Gallet has worked for the State several times, as Head of International Relations at the Office of the Minister of Education and Secretary General of the Interministerial Mission. Mr. Gallet has also held various political mandates such as Deputy to the Mayor of Nogent-le-Rotrou, Regional Adviser in the Centre Region and MP for Eure et Loir in the 1980s.
He is the author of Summary of French Foreign Policy (1996) and The Common Foreign Policy (1998).
Bertrand Gallet is a Knight of the Légion d’honneur and received the Albert Londres Prize.
